Test the MyApparelSpot e-Marketing Spot
In this step, we will load the store home page to ensure the new MyApparelSpot e-Marketing Spot displays as expected.
Procedure
- In the Enterprise Explorer view, navigate to Web Content > Stores > Web Content > MyApparelStore.
- Right-click index.jsp then click Run As > Run on Server. If the Server Selection window displays, select a server and click Finish.
- The store home page displays in the Web browser and the e-Marketing Spot text displays in the side bar as in the following screen capture. The promotion text displays under the sales catalog thumbnail images as well:
- To see the promotion discount applied to an item, add an item from the MyApparelSalesCatalog to the shopping cart. For example, the women's 5 pocket jeans display with the 25% promotion discount in the following screen capture:
