Integrating WebSphere Commerce and WCM requires the following software:

Before you can integrate WebSphere Commerce and WCM, complete the following tasks:

  1. Configure WCM, and install and configure any of it's required prerequisites.

  2. Install the Authoring Portlet used for Web Content Authoring.

  3. Ensure that you have met the required prerequisites.

  4. Install and configure your WebSphere Commerce production server.

  5. Install and configure WebSphere Commerce with an authoring server instance.

    IWWCM integration for WebSphere Commerce requires workspaces. Also, ensure that you enable e-mail notification for workspaces.

    In addition, your authoring server instance should be configured to propagate data and files to your production server.

  6. Ensure that your WCM and WebSphere Commerce systems can connect to each other over a network.

Once you have all the required software and met the prerequisites, you can integrate WebSphere Commerce and IWWCM.

To integrate WebSphere Commerce and IWWCM:

  1. Install IWWCM integration for WebSphere Commerce on the WCM system.

  2. Install IWWCM integration for WebSphere Commerce on the WebSphere Commerce system.

  3. Prepare IWWCM to create WebSphere Commerce content.

  4. Modify WebSphere Commerce JSP files to display WCM content.
