Changing selected member attributes

WebSphere Commerce Analyzer categorizes a member (customer) as a purchaser or a prospect, based on the status of their orders. In order to allow WebSphere Commerce Analyzer to classify a member as a purchaser or a prospect, designate an order status as a prospect or a purchaser. Do the following:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Analyzer Parameter Manager.
  2. Select Member Properties. The Select Member Attributes page displays.
  3. For each order status, select Purchaser or Prospect depending on how you want to classify customers who have orders with that status.
Note: If a customer has at least one order with a status marked as purchaser, they will be treated as a purchaser, and orders with status marked for prospect are no longer considered for the classification of this customer.
  4. In the Address type field, type a number to designate the member's address type. The address type will help decide which address records are used to populate the address-based columns in the MEMBER table.
  5. Click Apply. A message displays indicating whether the step was successful.
