Change a defining attribute

To change defining attribute information:

1. Find the product.

2. Select a field in the product row, and from the Actions menu, click Defining Attributes. A list of available defining attributes for the product displays.

3. Select the attribute you want to change and click Change. The Change Attribute page displays.

4. Change one, or both, of the following types of information:

   • Select the language from the Language menu.

   • In the Name field, type the name of the attribute, such as "Color".

   • In the Description field, type a brief description of the attribute.

5. Click OK to save the changes.

Notes:

• If the changes to the catalog data do not display in the store, the Site Administrator may need to remove the currently cached JSP pages.

• The attribute type cannot be changed.
