Add a price to a product

To add a price to a product:

  1. Find the product you want to change.

  2. Select a field in the product row that you want to change, and from the Prices menu, click Set Prices.

  3. The Product Pricing page displays. Using the list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.

  4. In the List Price field, add the product list price. The list price may be supplied by the manufacturer and may be set to any value. The list price is used as part of the product description and is not used as the actual price of the product. This field is for catalog display purposes only.

  5. Click Add Price Range.

  6. Define your price range specifications, as follows:

    1. Select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.

    2. Add the product price range for volume pricing in the Range field, to specify a quantity of products for a certain price. You must enter prices greater than 0.00. You cannot enter a price of 0.00.

    3. Repeat steps a. and b. for other currencies, if required.

  7. Click OK. Under the Price column of the new price range row, type the price of the product.

  8. To save the new product price, click OK.

The price for a product becomes the default price for SKUs created from this product. You can add the price of the SKUs individually.

If the changes to the catalog data do not display in the store, the Site Administrator may need to remove the currently cached JSP pages.
