Receiver information roadmap
In WebSphere Commerce a Receiver is a defined role that receives inventory at the fulfillment center, tracks expected inventory records and ad hoc receipts for ordered products, and receives returned products as a result of customer returns.
The Receiver uses the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, a browser-based tool, to manage inventory. The Receiver works with expected inventory, adjustments and returns as follows:
- Receive expected inventory
- Adjust inventory quantities
- Create an ad hoc receipt
- Receive returned products
