Start and stopping a WebSphere Commerce Payments application server

WebSphere Commerce Payments can be started and stopped as an application server.

(Windows)The application server can also be started or stopped from the Windows Services panel by starting or stopping the IBM WAS V6 -wpm_payments_instance service. For example, if you have a WebSphere Commerce Payments instance called wpm, then the Windows Service is IBM WAS V6 - wpm_Commerce_Payments_Server.

To start or stop a WebSphere Commerce Payments application server:

  1. Decide which WebSphere Commerce Payments application server you want to start or stop.

  2. Follow the instructions for stopping and starting an application server for your platform:
