Start and stop an application server from the Windows Services panel

Starting an application server starts both the application server and any applications that run inside the application server.

You can start or stop an application server from the Windows Services panel by starting or stopping the following services:

Application Windows service
WebSphere Commerce IBM WAS V6 - WC_instance

For example, if you have a WebSphere Commerce instance called demo, then the Windows service name is IBM WAS V6 - WC_demo.

WebSphere Commerce Payments IBM WAS V6 -wpm_payments_instance

For example, if you have a WebSphere Commerce Payments instance called wpm, then the Windows services name is IBM WebSphere Application Server V6 - wpm_Commerce_Payments_Server.
