Issuing the IBMPayServer command
The IBMPayServer command is not available in the WebSphere Commerce development environment. WebSphere Commerce Payments is integrated into the WebSphere Commerce test environments provided in the WebSphere Commerce development environment. When you start one of the WebSphere Commerce test environments, WebSphere Commerce Payments is automatically started and the IBMPayServer command is not required.
The IBMPayServer command is used to specify the WebSphere Commerce Payments password used to decrypt any sensitive data that is stored in the database.
To issue the IBMPayServer command:
- Do one of the following:
(AIX)
(Linux)(Solaris) Start a terminal session.(i5/OS)
Start a QShell session by entering the following command: STRQSH.(Windows)
Start a command prompt session.
- Change directories to the following directory:
- WC_installdir/payments/bin
- Issue the following command:
IBMPayServer instance passwordwhere instance is the name of the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance. The default name of the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance is wpm.
