The administrative business processes for the supply chain business model include processes performed by, or performed for, these organizational roles:
- Marketplace operator - The enterprise maintaining the supply chain site. Usually the marketplace operator's organization owns the supply chain, and uses the site for its sourcing needs.
- Supplier - A link in the buyer's supply chain. The supplier provides services to the owner of the supply chain using the site and maintained by marketplace operator.
