Process: Evaluate sites business results
Flow
Objective
You can analyze operational and configuration data in WebSphere Commerce to identify trends problems and opportunities. This information can be used to adjust WebSphere Commerce settings to maximize the customer experience and to maximize the store's profit.
Description
WebSphere Commerce Analyzer reads the data from the Commerce database and manipulates it, using extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, into a new schema called a datamart. The datamart is optimized for analytics reporting. You can perform datamining on the data in the datamart.
Features
- Replication of key Commerce database tables
- Extract, transform and load (ETL) processes
- Datamining
Customization
The WebSphere Commerce Analyzer Technical Reference Guide explains how to add database modifications to the extract, transform and load (ETL) processes.
You can also create datamining algorithms (demographic clustering) to mine new data or existing data in different ways.
