Configure Sun Java System Directory Server for use with WebSphere Commerce
If you use Sun Java System Directory Server, follow the steps on this page.Prerequisite
- Install and configured WebSphere Commerce.
- Ensure that the Sun Java System Directory Server is installed according to the instructions provided by the provider.
To configure Sun Java System Directory Server, complete the following steps:
- Add the following suffix Distinguished Name (DN) to your directory server:
o=root organization- Restart the directory server.
- Add the following organization Relative Distinguished Name (RDN) to your directory server: o=root organization
- Add the following organization RDN as a child of the o=root organization RDN to your directory:
o=default organization
You can customize these names to match your own settings. For example, use "dc=ibm,dc=com" instead of "o=root organization" and "cn=users,dc=ibm,dc=com" instead of "o=default organization, o=root organization". Refer to the documentation for your version of Sun Java System Directory Server for instructions on how to complete these tasks.
