Install WebSphere Commerce maintenance

WebSphere Commerce maintenance, includes fix packs and APARs. The WebSphere Commerce update intaller is a tool used to install and uninstall maintenance.

• Install the WebSphere Commerce Update Installer
  The WebSphere Commerce Update Installer is the tool you use to apply fix packs and APARs to your WebSphere Commerce installation.

• Uninstall the WebSphere Commerce Update Installer
  Uninstalling the WebSphere Commerce Update Installer is necessary when you are required to install a newer version of the Update Installer.

• Install WebSphere Commerce fix packs
  Fix packs should be installed and tested; doing so will save you time and help avoid problems that result in a service call. Before installing a WebSphere Commerce fix pack, review this information.

• Uninstall WebSphere Commerce fix packs
  Uninstalling the fix pack restores the WebSphere Commerce product files to the previous level. These instructions also remove the fix pack code from those WebSphere Commerce or WebSphere Commerce Payments instances that were updated at the same time the fix pack was applied to your system.

• Install WebSphere Commerce Developer fix packs
  WebSphere Commerce fix packs should be installed and then tested. Fix packs contain fixes that correct known problems and hence might prevent a service call from being placed. Before installing a WebSphere Commerce fix pack, review this information.

• Uninstall WebSphere Commerce Developer fix packs
  If you have installed any software that depends on WebSphere Commerce Developer, such as a WebSphere Commerce feature pack, disable or uninstall that software before completing this uninstallation.
