Move forum topics

We can move a topic to a different forum if the target forum is a more appropriate venue for the topic. When you move a topic to another forum, any responses to the topic are also moved to the new forum.

To move a topic in a stand-alone forum, we must be the forum owner. You must also own the forum to which we are moving the topic.

To move a topic in a community forum, we must be a community owner. The target forum must belong to the same community.

To move a forum topic:

1. Open the forum topic to move and click Move.

2. Select the forum to move the topic to and then click Move.

Results

The breadcrumb trail is updated to display the target forum.
