Answering questions in a forum
Share the expertise by answering questions that are posted to the forums. When to share information in a question-and-answer format, we can also post answers to our own questions.
Anyone can answer a question posted to a stand-alone forum. To answer a question posted to a community forum, we must be a community member.
Unanswered questions in a forum are flagged with a question mark icon
so that forum members can quickly identify them.
When you answer a question in a forum, the person who posted the question receives a notification with the answer. That person can choose whether to accept or reject the answer. If they accept the answer, the question is marked as answered in the user interface and is flagged with a tick
to indicate that it is answered correctly. A question can have multiple correct answers.
