Apply extensibility properties
Extend the Connections mobile app by adding an application to the Connections Launcher page.
We can extend the Connections mobile app by adding applications that can be displayed in the Launcher page. These applications can be links to other web pages, such as the organization's intranet site, or other native apps.
For information about the extensibility properties that we can specify, including image densities and sizes, see the Extensibility properties section of the Mobile configuration properties topic.
To add an application:
- Check out mobile-config.xml for editing. For more information about checking out the file, see the Change Mobile configuration property values.
- Open mobile-config.xml in a text editor.
- Edit the attributes in the Extensibility properties section. For more information about the properties, see the Mobile configuration properties topic.
- Save and check in mobile-config.xml.
- Synchronize the nodes and restart WebSphere Application Server.
