Install and uninstall interim fixes

Use IBM Installation Manager to update the product with the interim fixes available for our service level of the product.

For a list of fixes available for WebSphere Application Server and its associated software and for specific information about each fix, perform the following actions.

  1. Go to Fix Central.

  2. Select WebSphere as the product group.

  3. Select WAS as the product.

  4. Select the version of the product to be updated.

  5. Select the operating system as the platform, and click Continue.

  6. Select Browse for fixes, and click Continue.

  7. Click More Information under each fix to view information about the fix.

For transitioning users: In contrast to other product offerings, individual fixes for IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition cannot be installed by following the instructions in this section. Rather than being packaged as interim fixes, fixes for the IBM Java SDK are packaged as fix packs with updated time stamps, so they are installed and rolled back using the Installation Manager method described in Install and uninstall fix packs.
