Dynamic operations environment

The Intelligent Management dynamic operations environment supports three modes of operation:

With supervised operating mode, the system administrator accepts or denies the recommendations of the autonomic managers

Autonomic managers that perform tasks such as...

Autonomic manager Description
Application placement controller Distributed resource, existing within all node agent and dmgr processes, managed by the HA manager. If the active process fails, the controller becomes active on another node agent or dmgr process.

Autonomic request flow manager (ARFM) Modes include manual or automatic. To disable the autonomic setting of the ARFM control knobs, set the arfmManualAllocation custom property.
Dynamic WLM (DWLM) Enabled by default on dynamic clusters. Disabled by default on static clusters. To enable DWLM on a static cluster, click...

Servers > Clusters > cluster_name > Dynamic workload management (DWLM)

To disable DWLM on a dynamic cluster, click...

Servers > Dynamic clusters > dynamic_cluster_name > Dynamic workload management (DWLM)
Health controller Applicable to a cell, or subset of a cell. Distributed resource managed by the high availability manager. The health controller exists within all node agent and dmgr processes. The controller is active in one of these processes. If the active process fails, the controller becomes active on another node agent or dmgr process.
