WSNotificationCommands (AdminTask)

Decide which method to use to configure these resources. We can configure WS-Notification resources by using wsadmin command scripts as described in this topic, or we can configure WS-Notification resources using the administrative console.

Although not part of the set of WS-Notification commands, the common task Use a script to get up and running quickly with WS-Notification also involves running a wsadmin command.

To run these commands, use the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client. Each command acts on multiple objects in one operation. The commands are provided to allow you to make the most commonly- required types of update in a consistent manner, where modifying the underlying objects directly would be error-prone.

The wsadmin scripting client is run from Qshell. For more information, see Configure Qshell to run WebSphere scripts .
