Delete WebSphere MQ client links
Use this task to delete WebSphere MQ client links. This prevents JMS applications developed for WAS v5.1 from using those client links to exchange messages with the default messaging provider. Before deleting a WAS Version 5 JMS applications using the client link.
To start or stop one or more WebSphere MQ client links, use the admin console to complete the following steps.
- Stop all message-producing JMS applications in the WAS v5.1 environment that are using the client link. For example, you can use the admin console to stop the applications, as described in Start or stop enterprise applications.
- Allow all message-consuming JMS applications (including those consuming publications as a result of durable subscriptions) to continue until all the JMS queues are drained, then stop those applications.
Procedure
- Display the WebSphere MQ client links collection page. Click Service integration -> Buses -> bus_name -> [Topology] Messaging engines -> engine_name -> [Additional Properties] WebSphere MQ client links .
- Select the check box next to the name of each client link to delete.
- Click Delete
- Click OK.
- Save any changes to the master configuration.
