WebSphere MQ client links [Collection]


Client links present messaging engines as MQ queue managers to which MQ clients can attach.

Client links enable WAS v5 JMS clients to use messaging resources on the bus.

Name Name of the MQ client link.
Description
MQ channel name Channel used to send messages between MQ clients and the bus.
Queue manager name MQ queue manager on which the MQ sender channel is running. Connects to this MQ link receiver channel connection instance.
Default queue manager Is this queue manager the default for MQ clients?
Status Runtime status of the MQ client link.

New Create a new administrative object of this type.
Delete
Start Does not work if the selected MQ client link is running on an application server on which MQ has been disabled.
Stop Can be either quiesce, where the sender channel becomes inactive when it has...

  • finished processing its current batch
  • reached a heartbeat interval

...or force, where the sender channel immediately becomes inactive.
