The Security Configuration Wizard
The Security Configuration Wizard guides you through the process of completing the basic requirements to secure the application serving environment.
This wizard is available from the Security menu from the left pane of the admin console. To get to the wizard, navigate to Security > Global security > Security Configuration Wizard .
Step one of the configuration wizard allows you to choose the level of security desired. application-level security is selected by default. We also have the option of selecting Java2 security.
Step two of the configuration wizard allows you to select a user repository. we have the following options:
- Federated repository wizard settings
- Local operating system wizard settings
- Standalone custom registry wizard settings
- Standalone LDAP registry wizard settings
Step three of the configuration wizard allows you to specify the local operating system user and group definitions as the repository, and, if necessary, to provide the name of a user with administrator privileges.
Step four of the configuration wizard provides a summary of the results of the configuration process.
