Database user registry
- Determine if WebSphere Portal data should be transferred to another supported database.
- Ensure the database you plan to use is supported by WebSphere Portal v6.0.
Although not required for a non-cluster installation, IBM recommends you switch to a database other than Cloudscape.
If performing a cluster installation, switch to another database.
- Disable WAS global security
- Configure the database user registry
- Verify the connection between WebSphere Portal and Member Manager.
- If necessary, troubleshoot
