Configure custom properties for URLs using scripting
Procedure
- Start wsadmin
- Identify the parent ID and assign it to the newurl variable.
Jacl:
set newurl [$AdminConfig getid /Cell:mycell/Node:mynode/URLProvider:URLP1/URL:URL1/] newurl = AdminConfig.getid('/Cell:mycell/Node:mynode/URLProvider:URLP1/URL:URL1/') print newurl
Example output:
URL1(cells/mycell/nodes/mynode|resources.xml#URL_1)- Create a J2EE resource property set:
Jacl:
set propSet [$AdminConfig showAttribute $newurl propertySet] propSet = AdminConfig.showAttribute(newurl, 'propertySet') print propSet
Example output:
(cells/mycell/nodes/mynode|resources.xml#J2EEResourcePropertySet_7)- Identify the required attributes:
Jacl:
$AdminConfig required J2EEResourceProperty print AdminConfig.required('J2EEResourceProperty')
Example output:
Attribute Type name String- Set up the required attributes:
Jacl:
set name [list name RP3] set rpAttrs [list $name] name = ['name', 'RP3'] rpAttrs = [name]
- Create a J2EE resource property:
Jacl:
$AdminConfig create J2EEResourceProperty $propSet $rpAttrs $AdminConfig save print AdminConfig.create('J2EEResourceProperty', propSet, rpAttrs)
Example output
RP3(cells/mycell/nodes/mynode|resources.xml#J2EEResourceProperty_7)- In a network deployment environment only, synchronize the node.
