Searching for document libraries

You can find libraries by using the search feature on the Manage Document Libraries page. Useful if you are managing a large number of document libraries.

Perform the following steps to search for a library:

  1. Navigate to the Manage Document Libraries page.

  2. In standard form, the search type is automatically specified, so simply type your search criteria and click Search.

  3. In expanded form, select one of the following search types:

    • Description contains: Searches for words contained in the document library description.
    • Title contains: Searches for words contained in the document library title.

Your search results will include only document library resources that you are authorized to modify. Note that the search feature in Manage Document Libraries does not handle wild characters such as asterisks (*) and percents (%).
