Content item Form
A Content item form contains the following sections:
- Common Fields - Identification.
This section is used to give this item a unique name, enter a brief description of the item and record Author and Owner information.
- Content item - Properties.
This section displays information on the current Site Areas that a Content item is linked to, and the Authoring Template and Presentation Template used by the Content.
- Content item - Contents.
Any Components available for this Content item appear in the Contents section.
- Common Fields - Profile.
This section of the form is visible if Profiling has been enabled for an Item type. This section is used to select Categories and enter Keywords to profile your item with.
- Common Fields - Workflow.
This section of the form is visible if Workflowing has been enabled for an Item type. It is used to select a Workflow, display which Workflow Stage the item currently is in, enter Published and Expiry dates and add additional readers on the "live" site.
- Common Fields - Security.
This section is used to determine the default user access to this item, and view the item's Effective security. (Effective security is the combined security of System Defined, User Defined and Workflow Defined.)
