Adding Web Services Remote Portlets (WSRP)

Add Web Services for Remote Portlets to a portal page the same way that you add portlets from your workspace.

With your portal project open in Portal Designer, follow these steps:

1. In Portal Designer, right-click on a column within a portal page. From the context menu, choose

   Insert Portlet | As Child. This activates the

   Insert Portlet dialog box.

2. Choose

   Insert remote portlet.

3. Select a WSRP Producer from the menu, or click

   New to add a new remote portlet. Click OK.

4. In the

   Import Remote Portlet dialog, select a remote portlet from the list and click Finish.

5. In the

   Importt Portlet dialog, select the name of the remote portlet that you imported. Click OK.

Your remote portlet appears on the portal page.
