Administration using a web console
We can perform basic administration tasks by using a web console.
From IBM MQ Version 9.2.0, a new web console, known as the New Web Console, is available, see Quick tour of the New Web Console.
We can, if we want, continue to use the Dashboard Web Console on Multiplatforms, see Switching between console types.
Note: Do not disable the command server on any of our queue managers when we use a web console. If the command server is disabled for a queue manager, the web console becomes unresponsive with long delays to the processing of commands. Any commands that are issued to the queue manager for which the command server is disabled time out.
