Migrate deprecated portlets
Some previously available portlets have been removed from WebSphere Portal v7.0 because alternative or newer functionality is available that you can use instead. If you migrate from an earlier portal installation that used these portlets, the portlets are migrated to provide backward compatibility, but they are treated as third-party portlets. Users are encouraged to transition to other available technology as appropriate.
