Uninstalling WebSphere Portal on a single server
Before removing WebSphere Portal from a single server, there are a few preparations steps that are critical. Single server uninstall instructions are provided by operating system.
- Uninstalling on AIX
You can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.
- Uninstalling on HP-UX
You can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.
- Uninstalling on i5/OS
You can uninstall WebSphere Portal using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program. You can also choose to remove the Portal information from your DB2 database and/or to remove the IBM WAS profile created during the installation.
- Uninstalling on Linux
You can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.
- Uninstalling on Solaris
You can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.
- Uninstalling on Windows
You can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.
