Test with Cloud Load Generators
Performing load tests with 10,000 to 30,000 Virtual Users often requires extra resources to generate the load. Testing from the Cloud may well be useful to provision a large amount of machines. While the machines hosting the Load Generators are in the Cloud, an on-premise NeoLoad Controller can be used to manage the remote Load Generators.
- Tip: The Virtual Users boundaries to define the level of a heavy load test are provided for information only. They strongly correlate with the density of the test scenario, the infrastructure that is affordable, and the objectives to reach. To save time on configuring the Controller, it may be useful to set the Controller in the Cloud, as described in Test in full Cloud.
For heavy tests with Load Generators in the Cloud and with the Controller on premise, some configuration and tuning operations are necessary to increase the capacity of the testing environment including:
- NeoLoad scenarios
- NeoLoad Controller
