Why do I get the error message "No license file found"?

Problem

Licenses in NeoLoad are specific to the user running NeoLoad.

When logged in as a certain user; for example "Windows_User" and running NeoLoad manually, the Windows_User has a license in NeoLoad. When a CIS runs NeoLoad, it does not use the "Windows_User," it uses a different user, for example, "CIS_User." Therefore, the CIS_User does not have a license.

Solutions

You can configure the CIS so that it executes NeoLoad with a user that has a license.
Or you can configure the NeoLoad task so that the license is leased from a license management server using the command line argument -leaseLicense.
