Base systems
Table 1 lists the types ISAM base systems that we can set up in the secure domain. We must install the Security Directory Server client on each system that runs Security Verify Access, with the following exceptions:
- The Security Verify Access system is on a supported Windows operating system that is either the Active Directory domain or is joined to the Active Directory domain where the policy server is to be configured.
- You are setting up an attribute retrieval service or IBM Security Verify Access Runtime for Java,

Security Directory Server If we plan to install the Security Directory Server as your Security Verify Access registry, the following components are required: Refer to the Security Directory Server documentation for information about which versions of the server are supported.
