Activating or deactivating an activity

Activities can exist in the store in two states; active or inactive. Activities must be active before they are available to display in e-Marketing Spots on your storefront pages. You can only edit inactive activities.

Before you beginBefore you can activate or deactivate an activity, it must be defined for the store.

  1. Open the Marketing tool.

  2. From the explorer view, click Activities. The Activities - List page opens.

  3. Right-click the activity you want to update.

    1. To activate an inactive activity, select the activity, and click Activate. Before an e-mail activity can be activated, the store e-mail account must be configured. Furthermore, if the e-mail send date is the same as the current date, the system's delivery time must not have passed.

    2. To deactivate an active activity, select the activity, and click Deactivate.
