Objective

Operate on payments manually with the intention of getting the payment into the correct state.

 

Description

This general process describes handling payments that need to be moved from one state to another. This model is used by WebSphere Commerce Payments. If a payment had a state of M (authorization pending), for example, the payment could be approved (authorized) manually, allowing the order to enter the C state (payment completed).
