Send a link to a folder or view
If the administrator has configured the send a link feature, we can select other users to receive an e-mail link to the current folder or view.
The send a link option is available only if the Document Manager portlet is configured with a mail server.
When sending links, if the e-mail address of the sender is not specified, the e-mail will not be sent, and an error message will be displayed.
To send a link:
- Navigate to the folder or view that will be the target of the link.

Send a Link to this ViewA window opens so that we can select which users will receive the link.
- Enter search criteria in the window to search for a user, or select a user name from the list, and then click OK.
- If you wish to remove a recipient from the list, select the recipient name and click Remove.
- The Subject field is prefilled, but we can edit it to modify the subject line of the sent e-mail.
- Click Send Link to save the changes and send the e-mail, or Cancel to exit and discard any changes you made.
