Use a Document Manager element

When creating a Document Manager element, you search for and select a Document Manager document.

  1. Click Search to search for a Document Manager document.

    1. Select a document and then click OK.

    The current IWWCM user's credentials must have appropriate access privileges in Document Manager to perform searches, select and view Document Manager documents to successfully create a Document Manager Component.

  2. Click Preview to display the content of the selected Document Manager document.

  3. Click Details to display the details of the selected Document Manager document.

  4. Click Clear to clear the selected Document Manager document from the Document Manager element.

  5. Click Lock to lock the current reference to a Document Manager document. If the original Document Manager document is updated, the Document Manager element will not use the updated version, but will use the "locked" version.

  6. Click Unlock to unlock the current version of the Document Manager document. When Unlocked, each time the Document Manager Component is rendered, the current version is retrieved from Document Manager.

  7. Click Refresh to update the locked Document Manager document reference to the latest version stored in Document Manager. The status of the Document Manager element is still considered as locked.
