Stage two: Create a set of business rules

Create a set of business rules in Personalization. These will be used in Web Content Management to display different views of the "images" folder.

  1. Go to...

    Launch | Personalization | Business Rules

  2. Click New | Rule

    1. Name this rule "Images Ascending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      Select Documents whose Folder path includes images order by Name ascending show all items 

    4. Click Save.

  3. Click New | Rule

    1. Name this rule "Images Descending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      Select Documents whose Folder path includes images order by Name descending show all items 

    4. Click Save.

  4. Click New | Rule.

    1. Name this rule "Date Ascending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      Select Documents whose Folder path includes images order by Last modified date ascending show all items 

    4. Click Save.

  5. Click New | Rule.

    1. Name this rule "Date Descending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      Select Documents whose Folder path includes images order by Last modified date descending show all items 

    4. Click Save.
