Confirm installation of Collaboration Center components

Components

The installation program for WebSphere Portal installs the Collaboration Center pages and its portlets and deploys its portlets.

The installation program adds the following Collaboration Center components to your portal environment. If your portal does not include a tab called My Workplace with a Welcome page for the Collaboration Center, check the portal server for the presence of the following files:

1. Eight Collaboration Center portlets:

   • Portlets connecting to the Domino server:

     Portlet	Stored in
     Notes and Domino	notes2.war
     Domino Web Access (iNotes)	dominowebaccess.war

   • Portlets connecting to the Lotus Team Workplace server:

     Portlet	Stored in
     Lotus My Team Workplaces (QuickPlace)	LotusMyTeamWorkplaces.war

   • Portlets connecting to the Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing server:

     Portlet	Stored in
     Lotus Web Conferencing (Sametime)	LotusWebConferencing.war
     Lotus Instant Messaging Contact List	SametimeContactList.war
     Who Is Here	SametimeWhoIsHere.war

   • Portlets connecting to the Document Manager server:

     Portlet	Stored in
     Domino Document Manager	domdoc.war

   • Portlets connecting to the LDAP server configured for the portal:

     Portlet	Stored in
     People Finder	lwppeoplefinder.war

2. The deployment file for the Collaboration Center pages and portlets:

   DEPPDeployment.xml
   

 

Post-install operations

There are no required post-install operations for the Collaboration Center components.

However, if you have or plan to customize themes and skins in your portal, perform an additional task of specifying style sheets to preserve support for people awareness features.
