Uninstalling a cluster on Linux
You can uninstall IBM® WebSphere® Portal Express only
or both WebSphere Portal Express and IBM WebSphere Application Server using
either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation
program.

Perform the following tasks to uninstall WebSphere Portal Express:
- Preparing to uninstalling on Linux
Before uninstalling IBM WebSphere Portal Express, prepare your system; for example, adding passwords to the properties files and keeping or discarding database information.
- Uninstalling on Linux
You can uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal Express only or both WebSphere Portal Express and IBM WebSphere Application Server using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.
- Uninstalling manually on Linux
If the uninstallation program is not present or an aborted installation did not create a complete and functional uninstallation program, you can manually uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal Express.
