Installing the Java EE database logger for MFT
Follow these instructions to install and configure the JEE database logger for use with Managed File Transfer.

Note: We cannot run a Java EE database logger at the same time as a stand-alone logger, unless these loggers are using separate instances of the database.Procedure
- Before installing the Java EE database logger, we must prepare the environment. Use the instructions in the topic Preparing to install the Java EE database logger for MFT.

Follow these instructions to prepare your Managed File Transfer environment before installing the Java EE database logger. - Change the schema name in the Java EE database logger for MFT
The Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) database logger can use a database that has a non-default schema name. We must change the schema name in the Java EE database logger EAR file. - Set the native library path in WebSphere Application Server traditional Version 9.0
If you deploy the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) database logger application on WebSphere Application Server traditional Version 9.0, and we want to use bindings mode connections between the application and IBM MQ, we must configure the IBM MQ messaging provider with the location of the IBM MQ native libraries on the system. - Installing the Java EE database logger for MFT with WebSphere Application Server traditional Version 9.0

The number of operating system users that is required depend on the number of systems we are using to host these components.
