New features on all supported platforms

IBM MQ Version 9.0.3 delivers a number of new features on all platforms that are supported by this release, that is on Linux , Windows, and z/OS®.


Enhancements for the administrative REST API

From Version 9.0.3, the following enhancements are available for the administrative REST API:

  • We can request status information about a queue manager by using the status query parameter with the qmgr resource. For example, we can request information about the date and time at which the queue manager was started. For more information, see /qmgr GET.


Managed File Transfer resource monitor event logging

From Version 9.0.3, Managed File Transfer writes information to a log file, that is local to an agent, on what the resource monitors of that agent are doing.
