Install the Confluence connector from a console

Install the IBM Lotus Connections Connector for Confluence from a non-graphical console interface.

The console interface provides the same options as the graphical installation wizard, except in text form.

To install the Confluence connector from a console:

1. To launch the installation program from the console interface, do one of the following:

   • Microsoft Windows

     Enter the following command from the root of the Confluence connector setup directory:

     setupwin32.exe -console

   • Linux

     1. Open a command prompt and change to the Confluence connector setup directory.

     2. Enter the following command:

        ./setuplinux.bin -console

   • AIX

     1. Open a command prompt and change to the Confluence connector setup directory.

     2. Enter the following command:

        ./setupaix.bin -console

2. Navigate through the wizard by selecting the required options and pressing Enter. For example, to select the language to use for the installation, output similar to the following is displayed. To select an item, enter its number and press Enter.

   D:>install -console
   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Select a language to be used for this wizard.
   
   [ ] 1  - Traditional Chinese
   [ ] 2  - Simplified Chinese
   [ ] 3  - Czech
   [ ] 4  - Dutch
   [X] 5  - English
   [ ] 6  - French
   [ ] 7  - German
   [ ] 8  - Greek
   [ ] 9  - Hungarian
   [ ] 10 - Italian
   [ ] 11 - Japanese
   [ ] 12 - Korean
   [ ] 13 - Polish
   [ ] 14 - Portuguese
   [ ] 15 - Portuguese (Brazil)
   [ ] 16 - Russian
   [ ] 17 - Spanish
   [ ] 18 - Turkish
   

3. When you are finished, enter

   0

   and press Enter.
