IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Application Diagnostics, Version 7.1.0.1

CYNP0016W: There is a missing method trace for the end of the request on thread execCtx.

Explanation

The Publish Server maintains a stack of requests. The requests are listed in the stack in the order in which they were invoked. If the Publish Server gets the end of the request without the start, this warning message is issued.

Operator response

Check the logs to determine if t he data collector has recently reconnected to the Publish Server (a component of the) Managing Server. A reconnection may happen if either the data collector or the Managing Server was restarted, or if network connectivity is temporarily lost. If a reconnect happens, the start of a request may happen when the data collector is not communicating with the Publish Server. Then, when the end of the request occurs, the Publish Server emits this warning message. Next it removes the request as corrupted, issuing a CYNP0010W message. In such situations, ignore the messages.
