Functions and transforms
In the XML map editor, you map elements and attributes between source and target business objects or messages, and then you apply transform logic that specifies the action to be performed on the source data. The result of the transform is stored in the target element. The XML map editor provides ready-made transforms that you can use to process input data. You can also use XSLT, XPath and DataPower functions.
- IBM supplied transform types in the XML map editor
The XML map editor provides a ready-made set of transforms, each of which performs some action on the input data.- XSLT and XPath functions
The XML map editor provides XSLT and XPath functions as primary transformations. XSLT 1.0 and XSLT 2.0, XPath 1.0 and XPath 2.0 functions are provided.- DataPower functions
You can use DataPower functions in XML maps you want to run on a DataPower appliance.
