(Deprecated) Specifying a target component for your selector

The target component is the destination where the selector will direct the implementation.

To add a destination to your new selector, proceed as follows:

Procedure

  1. In the editor of your newly created selector, click the operation that you want to associate with the destination.

  2. If this is a new operation, then no destination data will be defined for it, and you will have the following options:
    Option Description
Create Operation Definition Click here to launch the selector editor and specify the rule logic yourself.
Link to Orphan This option will be available if you have already created an operation and deleted it. Click here to link to the destination data that is still defined for the old operation.
Once you have made your choice, the destination window will appear.

  3. Click Enter SCA Component to select and assign a default destination . When you click Enter SCA Component, you are presented with list of components, imports, and exports. Only those components, imports, and exports that use the same interface, or have the same operation defined as the selector does, are available in the drop-down box.
