Configure profiles and databases

After install the product, if you did not use typical installation, create or augment one or more profiles to define the runtime environment. Before starting a profile, configure the databases to be used with the profile.

• Configure a stand-alone environment with a DB2 database server on AIX
  

  You can configure a stand-alone environment for IBM BPM using a DB2 database server.

• Configure a stand-alone environment with a DB2 for z/OS database server on AIX
  You can configure a stand-alone environment for IBM BPM using a DB2 Universal Database for z/OS database server.

• Configure a stand-alone environment with an Oracle database server on AIX
  

  You can configure a stand-alone environment for IBM BPM using an Oracle database server.

• Configure a stand-alone environment with an SQL Server database server on AIX
