Database manager configuration tuning
Each instance of the database manager has a set of database manager configuration parameters, also called database manager parameters, which affect the amount of system resources that are allocated to a single instance of the database manager.
Some of these parameters are used for configuring the setup of the database manager and other information that is not related to performance. You can use either the DB2 Control Center or the following command to change the parameters:
UPDATE DATABASE MANAGER CONFIG USING keyword
