Configure IBM Tivoli Monitoring components
Although the majority of configuration is done during the product installation, you can use the Manage Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Services tool to configure components at any time.
You can also use the Manage Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Services tool to start and stop components.
You can also perform many of these configuration and start and stop procedures from the command-line. Where this is possible, the command is included. See the for a complete description, including parameters, of the commands that you can use in the installation and configuration of IBM Tivoli Monitoring.
