Transferring skills
Much of the skills transfer can occur during the installation and configuration process if you are working closely with key staff. You can still factor in an additional three days to cover the same subjects as in the IBM Tivoli Monitoring Administration course.
Other skills transfer can be estimated at one day per agent type. For some of the z/OS-based agents this can be a bit longer because of the two different 3270 mainframe and the portal client interfaces, so allow two days for CICS and DB2 agents.
These time estimates correspond roughly to the number of days it takes to deliver formal training.
